ORAL ARGUMENTS

Below are some sample videos of successful arguments Mr. Armas has made on behalf of clients before courts and other bodies:

  • In the City of Miami Beach vs. MCM, we successfully represented a contractor who was sued by the City of Miami Beach for over $11,000,000 in alleged defects that arose during the construction of South Pointe Park in Miami Beach. At trial, the court only awarded the City of Miami Beach approximately $400,000 in damages. That amount was further reduced after a successful appeal before the Third District Court of Appeal. View Video.
  • In A2 vs. City of Miami Beach, we successfully defended an appeal from an order awarding a public works project to our client. View Video.
  • Here, Mr. Armas appeared before the Miami-Dade County Commission on behalf of Sunset Neighbors, an advoacy group who opposed the construction of a massive 2,500 student charter school in a South Miami residential neighborhood. Mr. Armas' work with Sunset Neighbors was ultimately successful, as the Miami-Dade County Commissioner voted against the construction of the school.
  • In Stuart R. Kalb, Trustee vs. I T I Inter-Trade Industrial, Inc. and Mario Calderon, we successfully appealed an adverse order entered against our client. View Video.
  • In CIMA Capital Partners, LLC, vs. PH Cellular, Inc., we successfully appealed a judgment and not only reversed the judgment but also procured a money judgment in favor of our client. It is worth noting after watching the video that all three judges, including Judge Cortina, ruled unanimously in our favor. View Video.
